In this journal, we use a feminist lens to document the facts, tell stories, the status and lived experiences of young African women, and the reality of different forms of organizing practiced by African feminists on the continent. We are happy to announce that our 2022 cohort will be starting their fellowship program from March this year! We received an overwhelming number of responses from this year’s applications, and we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who applied and our networks for continuously sharing our opportunities. Our efforts of empowering and mentoring young African women and non-binary entrepreneurs who are thriving on the African continent would not be possible

without you! The Grow With Us Fellowship is a program designed to prepare the next generation of African women social entrepreneurs for the tasks they have ahead of them. We are confident in the quality of leaders this program will produce.

Girl Talk Retreat.

We successfully brought together our Anglophone and Francophone Girl-Talk Coordinators in Kigali, Rwanda for a three-day retreat. This was an opportunity for them to re-assess the progress of Girl-talk so far, strategize and plan for activities that would shape the Girl-talk movement for the next three years.
